Moving beyond old patternsRaus aus den alten Mustern
The pitch for the booth was simple: imagine this is the last warehouse software you will ever need. Not because it does everything on day one, but because it never stops fitting. The traditional pattern is to purchase a finished system and then pay for expensive customization until the operation bends around the software. Pyck inverts that: it covers the warehouse end to end, gets shaped to yours, and your own team operates it, optimizes it and extends it from there.Die Botschaft für den Stand war einfach: Stell dir vor, das ist die letzte Lagersoftware, die du je brauchen wirst. The live demoDie Live-Demo
The booth demo made the argument physical. Visitors scanned a Pyck drink on site and watched the software run the real steps behind it, the same workflows that run receiving, picking and packing in a live warehouse. Whoever scanned went home with a Pyck bottle opener. A small takeaway, but the point stuck: this is software you can watch working, not a slide about software.Die Demo am Stand machte das Argument greifbar. Besucher scannten vor Ort ein Pyck-Getränk und sahen zu, wie die Software die echten Schritte dahinter ausführt, dieselben Workflows, die in einem produktiven Lager Wareneingang, Kommissionierung und Packen steuern. Wer scannte, ging mit einem Pyck-Flaschenöffner nach Hause. Ein kleines Mitbringsel, aber der Punkt saß: Das ist Software, der man beim Arbeiten zusehen kann, keine Folie über Software.

The conversations we wanted to have in Stuttgart were about the moment every operation eventually reaches: the warehouse changes and the software does not. A new client, a new carrier, a new automation cell, and suddenly the system that was sold as complete needs a quote, a consultant and a release window.
